Coronado High School is a public school in Arizona with 1,044 students enrolled for the 2016-2017 school year. The majority of these kids come from Scottsdale Unified School District’s feeder schools and they’re all ready to get their education started. Coronado High School is named after the Spanish conquistador Francisco Vásquez de Coronado. The school opened its doors in 1961 as a public comprehensive high school with an emphasis on college preparatory courses to prepare students not just academically but also socially so that they could make an impact on their communities after graduating from there.
